Skullduggery LARP

*Pazar nudges his head as Arin scratches behind his ear and grins at her, then once she stops thinks about what has just been said and prevents himself growling and whispers to Arin*

*Danik stares at the Elves and their scuffle, nonplussed by what seems to him to be a pointless, wastefull argument, seeing that Kano will be busy until the matter is resolved, he seats himself next to Cerberus, chuckling loud enough to be heard by all in the chamber. He draws his notebook out of his pocket and begins to discuss things with the younger Nosque mage offering some advice on his ideas, offering some input of his own when possible.*

Krayle re-entered the large room, greeted by the sight of the smouldering remains of the Orcish Funeral Pyre. Out of the corner of his eye Krayle spotted Danik and Cerberus in discussion. Walking towards his fellow Nosque, Krayle found himself obstructed by the elves scuffle,

"Oh please, whatever you think each other has done just forget about it. I can't stand hearing another petty squabble over who insulted who's honour, what good do you think honour and valour will do when your dead? You are both of the same race and you should treat each other with some respect! Killing a brother of faith and blood is not an honourable pursuit, if Tyr offends you so then seek to enlighten him and not kill him."

Raising his voice slightly,

"All of us must make compromise and sacrifice, I have seen too many of my Nosque brothers and sisters fall in the name of other nations. We all wish to return home but to do that we must work together, not slay each other needlessly. You may see my words as offensive to your customs but I care not, for your customs are the product of misguided beliefs. So go ahead and kill each other and rid us of another of the lesser races, or you could end this and just get along for the good of your people and for the good of this alliance."

Krayle stepped around the elves who had listened in silence before adding,

"I have said my peace, if any of you take issue with me then feel free to skip the duel to the death and just stick a knife in my back."

And with that the young Nosque turned on the spot and began to make towards Danik and Cerberus.

Still following his keeper, Le'Sar is slightly taken aback by Krayle's speach at the elves, and fairly ammused. Holding back a smile, which with the mask on noone would notice the difference, he moves softly around the elves and continues following Krayle until they reach Danik and a new Nosque he hadcome to hear called Cerberus

"so has you can see danik, a few ideas but wouldn't know where to start to create these effects.... can't really think of anything with yours but they do sound rather intriguing"

Cerberus looks up from his notes and can see Krayle and Le'Sar heading towards him and danik

"Evening Krayle..... who's the one following you?...."

** On hearing the Nosque's speech Ohtar takes a deep breath, pinches the bridge of his nose and starts counting to himself in a low voice **

"twenty, nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, sixteen, fifteen, fourteen, thirteen, twelve, eleven, ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one"

** Having gathered his thoughts Ohtar resumes his previous sitting position **

"Menal, I begin to really worry what the political and racial prejudices of the Nosque who aren't on our side are like. I miss the warm, lighthearted xenophobia of the prison guards.

The next time we do tea it should be somewhere private, invite only perhaps, or at least a policy against... hastily applied mascara".

Tyrel loses interest in what the nosque has to say fairly quickly.

"You aren't even important enough for me to know who you are, that should be a clue as to how much I care for your point of view. Go bother a racoon, you nobody. Not a person here is interested in what you have to say."

Unable to hold back the smirk anymore, Le'Sar let's out a small laugh only jsut loud enoguh to reach Krayle's ear's. Continuing this he says

"Please don't bother raccoon's, I quite like them!" Along with a cheeky little wink.

Krayle approached Cerberus and was about to answer when he heard the Elves, turning on the spot Krayle laughed,

"Thats fine. You can insult me as much as you like but it doesn't change the facts, heathen. Oh nice ear by the way, I thought hobgoblins had two pointy ears... My mistake."

Krayle smiled sarcastically before turning back to his fellow Nosque and shooting Le'Sar a look to show how unamused he was at his comment.

"Don't encourage the Elf, the next time I hear someone criticise the Nosque my sword wont hesitate to leave its scabbard."

Finally Krayle turned to Cerberus and greeted him with a respectful nod.

"Evening Armiger, I trust you are well?"

Looking towards Danik,

"I am pleased to report that I found a small chamber off of the main passage into this room, I have established a small shrine with what little I had in my satchel and there a number of Nosque currently in prayer."

"Ha! I'll remember that next time I go to save one of your kind. Just out of interest, was your mother a racoon or badger?" Says Tyrel "You seem to be able to talk tough here, but I bet you'd wet your pants if it came to a fight."

Krayle grinned and decided it was best to ignore the Elf, soon they would be heading for Nosque and his tone would certainly not be appreciated there.

"huh, just what I thought, coward." tyrel continues his walk.

*Danik, who has placidy sat in the corner, smiling widely while Krayle rebuked the elves for the squabbles stands slowly and evenly clearly not in any particular rush.*

"Oh, Tyrel, thats your name isn't it? The next time you choose to insult the parentage of my little brothers? Please remember that my response will be a LOT more painful for you? And as for threats about leaving one of the Chosen people behind? Maybe I should remember that next time you all need me to teleport you out of some god forsaken hellhole."

*Danik stops momentarily and sighs, glancing to the skull atop the staff in his hand*

"Alright, one chance, apologise to the spirits of the righteous, particularly those who fathered Krayle, and I won't have to go apologise to Kano for embarrasing him."

"Danik, you and I both know that I'm not going to apologise to him." indicating Krayle "because he stuck his nose in buisness that has nothing to do with him. Unless you feel like making him apologise for any of the many comments he has made. I have yet to see the nosque save a Malkon, yet I have saved several of yours alone, so remember all you want."

"Its interesting how selective ones memory can be when one is angry. Perhaps the boy shouldn't have gotten involved, but that doesn't mean he was wrong to do so, for all you might think, the most difficult battles are still ahead of us, The heralds, and the thing that keeps them are mighty, and they have the resources of a continent to throw at us if they choose, I don't really care if you kill the coward, or if he proves himself again, I can't save the souls of Elm's children, only Arkarne's.

But I think the boys message was true, you want a duel, thats fine, but postpone the date until the night after we take Afacia, or when the Darkwood civil war has ended. Sheathe your honour until it will do no harm to those you owe allegiance too.

And I did not ask you to apologise to Krayle, but to his Mother, I will not brook insults to the righteous dead."
