Re: New to Skullduggery (and the UK)

Hello. American LARPer here. I did NERO Atlanta, Shattered Isles, and various Mind's Eye things in and around Georgia, although I grew up in Connecticut. You've been to Atlanta and know big names? How about Bruce Hunter and Charles Bailey? I've been in the UK 13 years and doing Skullduggery since 20...

Re: Hello

He plays Odyssey now. Made it through several events as the same character and had an awesome, dramatic, appropriate death when he finally went.

Why do I always remember his characters names being Howl, rather than Bark...?

Re: A brave new world.

As more people arrive at the shelters, they can see an array of carts loaded with an assortment of supplies. The injured and elderly are being kept comfortable in the first few shelters to be put up. Several children are running around together, laughing and playing, instantly making friends in the ...

Re: A brave new world.

"Sorcha?!" Heather yells as she runs toward the assembled battered heroes. Spotting the fae, she sprints toward her. "Sorcha, are ya hurt? Do ya need healin' or some water?" The islander looks tired, and her concern is obvious, both for the fae in red and black and those heroes assembled around her....

Re: Best and Better September 2013

Ooo...another good thing. Charlie put a camera in my hand Sunday morning. I was feeling terrible and depressed from feeling terrible. Kind people offered me a chance to be a civilian and all sorts, but it was all too much. I thought I might manage carrying water. Maybe. Then Charlie put a camera in ...

Re: Best and Better September 2013

Good things Arin was right. “This is the only path on which the gods will survive.” The fact that she was right is not necessarily a good thing because it meant all the gods died and she’s very sorry to see that she was right, but it all works in so well with her Cassandra complex that she was right...

Re: Songs to end the world to.

After the last major change to the world, when all of the characters were 'killed' by Arrazeth and taken to the 'big white room', only to be brought back 174 years later (or so), I posted this song from Once More with Feeling: Kia: What can't we face if we're together? Bethany: What's in this place ...

Re: Goblin Backgrounds / Histories

The Puppetmaster was not a part of the Dark Trinity. You all saw the Dark Mother of the Dark Trinity die in Elm's arms. Arin was a child of the Green Trinity, mother of the Dark Trinity following Unity, and walked the path of the Earth Mother because it was the only of the four paths that promised t...

Re: Long live the king

"We believe he protects 'em still. Not a single bairn has been taken in all these years since."

In a mock whisper, "Sorcha, I think ya drank all the vanilla mead. Ya gotta wait for the vanilla bees ta make some more."

Re: Long live the king

Heather watches Mendac go, a bit sad that he is leaving. She's pleased that Sorcha is here. And the new Keeper. She'd said she would come to Arina. That would be good. Leave the religious matters to be explained by those that understand it. "Aye, so if Saint Tuathal didnae know...well, even if he di...

Re: Long live the king

"Did he know?" Heather ventures, sounding uncharacteristically quiet and unsure. "I mean...Ya know...Saint Arin saved my people from destruction an' brought us ta the grace of Elm. We've been loyal ta her since before the second time she died. An' more recently, since I was last in Bastion, my peopl...
