Re: Traveling Band of Merry Clowns

Maku looked up at the head mage.
not too much. I take it you heard about the heart of magic and the challenge? We're planning our next move.

Re: Traveling Band of Merry Clowns

Out of interest, what does the mages guild have in terms of artefacts?

The spirit did seem interested in the Nosque King's staff.

Re: The Orc story

This brings me on to the orcs and the other races. As I mentioned, orcs were the enemy not long ago. Most of the other races were allies and so helped each other escape the destruction. That doesn't mean we're still the enemy. We were lied to by the puppet master and we did not choose to go to war. ...

Re: The Orc story

Since the old world's destruction, the orcs have had a very difficult time. The goddess orcs, goblins and ogres had always worshipped turned out to be an evil puppet master god. The orcs were manipulated and summoned to war against the other races of the world, including the players at Skully. From ...

The Orc story- getting to know your green skin neighbors!

I've started this thread to record the current situation of the Orc people at skully and customs that we develop. I hope this should eventually lead to an Orc racial brief and we will have a clear identity of who the orcs are and what customs they respect. If anyone has any questions or suggestions,...

Re: Traveling Band of Merry Clowns

Maku stood and stared for a moment. The Silurian chief was pointing at him, and complimenting him.

He puffed up his chest and smiled as sat down again.
He was keen to see what the more powerful mages would suggest.

Re: Traveling Band of Merry Clowns

Maku stood up to speak at eye level. My people have always had strong ties and respect with the spirits. In our ways, we appeased them by giving them what they lack. We are simple to them, yet they watch over us as parents would a youngling. They do this because we are what they can never be, mortal...

Re: Traveling Band of Merry Clowns

Maku looked at the new arrival. He remembered her, it seemed like a long time ago now. She'd seemed like a straight forward speaker then. Maku just nodded and hoped this meeting didn't end up a bunch of soft skins whining. So far so good. He reached into his pocket for a bit of dried meat and began ...

Re: Traveling Band of Merry Clowns

Maku stood at the entrance to the meeting place and peered inside. The Afacian Mage sat there, the one who sang and drummed with Maku.
He walked in and took a seat opposite Theodore, smiling.

Good to see you again he said, I take it this is about that spirit business?

Re: The time of the Orc has come!

Back to OC. How should the orcs speak and act? The more I look, the more I like how the Wildlings from GoT act. Not afraid of a hard life, trust their own people most as everyone else is usually an enemy. As for voice, I speak normally but struggle with big words. Kit made a good point about how we ...

Re: At the watering hole

Maku took the bottle and drank I've lost a lot, but I've also got a lot to gain. I've seen my people are out there, on other worlds. I'll find them if they're in this world too. I'll find them and keep them safe. He handed the bottle back. I'll fight anything that threatens my friends or my people, ...

Re: At the watering hole

I didn't side with them. I went to talk to them. But I got nowhere. I just killed many Tor'keth on the mountain to help the Silurians. I don't know why they stood against us. He sighed and looked at his reflection in the pool Now I don't know what to believe. I think we need them to beat the mist, ...

Re: At the watering hole

Maku leant back and turned to Fenrir.
Fenrir! Good to see you. I'm getting a drink

Fenrir didn't look impressed. He turned back to his skin and fastened it shut.
If you want to pick it up you can. But I don't think the Silurians will like it if you get blood in their oasis.

Re: At the watering hole

As he sat up, he saw several faces staring back at him. Maybe they weren't keen on drinking the water the orc had just washed in. Maku looked down, it only looked a little cloudy. He saw Fenrir look at him strangely. And a sidhe he had not met. He grinned apologetically Sorry. It was a long walk dow...

At the watering hole

Maku packed the last of his belongings into the sack and hoisted them over his shoulder. He grabbed a few strips of dried meat and shoved them into his pouch. It was going to be a long journey back. He'd need water too, but his skin was empty. There was pool nearby, nice and cool. He would fill up f...
