Who's Coming - September 2019

Post by Nate » Mon Sep 02, 2019 9:13 pm

Hello all! Welcome to the next event of the 2019 season of Skullduggery. As usual please do read down, even if you are not new to the games, to refresh details you may have forgotten and pick up on anything different.

If you're coming, please put:
Your name
Player ID
How many cars, when you anticipate arriving and leaving

If this thread appears locked, please go via the events forum to reply.

Please do not ask questions here, please email [email protected]. As always, please check this thread before you travel.

About the car park:
Car parking is always going to be a challenge. Car parking on site is tight, so as always please car share as much as possible. As we have done previously, we are going to limit when people come and go from the site during the mornings particularly. Friday will be as per normal, with arrivals and then people leaving site to go home if they wish by 11pm. Saturday morning however if you are planning to leave site for any reason (for example supply runs and so on) we ask that you leave before 9am so that we can more easily park arrivals. Saturday night will then be as normal and Sunday morning subject to the same principles as Saturday morning. Obviously if you have an emergency or other unexpected circumstance then we will as always do our best to get you offsite in a timely manner. If you anticipate this causing an issue, please email [email protected] and we will see what we can do. If you are arriving on site Saturday morning, the gates will be open from 8.30am but if you could aim to arrive just after 9am then any players who are planning to leave should have done so by this time. This strategy has helped us previously and we are grateful to everyone who has helped us out with this.

In addition, could everyone please ensure that at any time when they park their car they have checked it is parked appropriately with Nathan, Sarah or Jony on arrival. During normal arrival times there will be someone in the car park to direct you as usual. If you arrive outside of these times or for whatever reason there is not someone there to greet you, please mention when you check in at GC that this is the case. We don't like having to interrupt the game to ask you to move your car and we feel the best solution to this is if everyone could check their car is appropriately parked before they go IC. If you have any feedback please just let us know.

Arriving on Friday (6th)

Arrivals from 4pm as usual please.

Early arrivals will not be allowed on site without prior arrangement before the game. If you anticipate needed an early arrival for any reason then you must email [email protected] before 6pm on Thursday 7th and had a response confirming your arrival arrangements before you leave (Responses will not necessarily be before 6pm but you should have one sometime Thursday evening). Please do not arrive before this without permission, this is to allow us to do setup without having to monitor and book people in. Where possible, if one person per carload can email in, that lets us know groups as they arrive.

Arriving on Saturday (7th)
Arrival from 08:30 as usual and will need to check in at Games Control before walking onto site.

Arriving Sunday (8th)
Usual arrival times apply here, 08:30 on Sunday to book in at Games Control.

Departing on Sunday
Time out is expected to be at approximately 3pm.

Everyone needs to be offsite by 17:30 (5:30 PM) as your lovely staff team have to finish locking up in good time. Please ensure any lifts have arrived and gone by this time.

Season tickets are valid at this game.

On the gate options are as described on the bookings info page.

Signing for children
If you're signing for under 16s (i.e. you understand that the underage player is to be your responsibility) you must be 21 or over and be remaining on site whilst the child is on site. If you leave site, the underage player needs to go with you. You will need to bring a consent form for under 18s if this is their first Skully event.

The Jester Inn will be catering this event. Signup is on the Facebook group, ask there if you can't find the post, tag Thomas James Coxon for a speedy answer. There is a set meal for Friday and Saturday evening, and Saturday and Sunday Breakfast that is £20 (£22.50 for the big breakfast). Food is also available on a made to order basis on Saturday and Sunday during the day. Please do let him know if you want the meal so he has enough food for you.

Please check this thread before you travel for any last-minute updates.

See you there
